• Payment information — purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive a record of the purchase (amount, date, status) but never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data — basic analytics about how the site is used (pages viewed, steps completed), to understand and improve the experience.

• To create and deliver your portrait.
• To sign you in and keep your library available to you.
• To process purchases and provide the paid content.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To measure and improve the product and our advertising.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of processors, each handling only what it needs:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting (stores your email, birth details, and portrait).
• Stripe — payment processing.
• DeepSeek — the AI model that turns your chart into written text. Chart data is sent to generate your portrait.

• Meta (Facebook) — advertising and conversion measurement via the Meta Pixel (see below).

Cookies and tracking

We use the Meta Pixel to understand which visitors reach key steps — viewing the site, starting the form, creating a portrait, and purchasing — so our advertising is measured and relevant. You can limit this through your browser settings and your Meta ad preferences.

Data retention

We keep your account, birth details, and portrait for as long as your account exists, so your library stays available. Purchase records are kept as required for accounting and tax. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing support@thecosmicchronicle.com from your account email. Deleting your account removes your portraits and birth details.

Children

The Arrival is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
