Legal
Last updated July 5, 2026
These Terms govern your use of The Arrival (“the Service”), a digital product operated by [legal entity name](“we”, “us”). By using the Service or buying a portrait, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service and to make a purchase.
The Arrival turns the birth details you provide into a written, personal portrait — an essay meant for reflection and self-understanding. The first two chapters are free to read. The complete portrait (the “Complete Atlas”) is available as a one-time purchase and remains in your library afterward.
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure — anyone who can open that link can reach your library. You are responsible for activity under your account.
The complete portrait is offered for the one-time price shown at checkout (US$50 at the time of writing), processed securely by Stripe. Prices may change, but a change will not affect a purchase you have already completed.
Because two chapters are free to read before any purchase, and the product is delivered digitally and immediately, please see our Refund Policy for how refunds work.
Your portrait is for your personal use. You may read, download, and keep it, but you may not resell it, republish it as your own, or use the Service to scrape, copy, or build a competing product.
The Arrival offers reflection, not certainty. Its writing is generated for insight and enjoyment and is not professional advice — it is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, or financial guidance, and it does not predict the future. The decisions you make remain your own.
The Service, its design, and its writing engine belong to us. The portrait generated for you is yours to read and keep for personal use, under the license above.
We work to keep the Service running but do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features.
The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us. Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [state / country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
